Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Adria Software LLC d/b/a CDL Match ("CDL Match," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Service. If you are a resident of California or another U.S. state with a comprehensive privacy law, please also see "Your Choices & Rights" below for additional disclosures and the rights available to you.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account & profile information you provide: name, contact details, role, and — for drivers — CDL class, endorsements, experience, work history, and job preferences; for carriers — company name, DOT/MC numbers, and fleet details.
  • Verification documents you upload to support a bonus claim or hire verification, which may include pay stubs, settlement statements, bank records, and FMCSA Clearinghouse records. These are sensitive and handled as described in Section 4.
  • Usage information: log data, device and browser information, and actions you take on the Service.
  • Cookies: see our Cookie Policy. We set only essential cookies unless you opt in to non-essential cookies.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to operate matching and search, build and display profiles, compute verified hiring history, process payments, administer the driver bonus, verify hires, provide support, maintain security and prevent fraud, comply with law, and improve the Service. We do not use your sensitive verification documents for any purpose other than verifying a hire, and we do not use your information for third-party targeted advertising.

3. How We Share Information

  • Across the marketplace: a driver's profile information is shown to carriers (contact details stay gated until a carrier unlocks them); a carrier's public profile information is shown to drivers.
  • Service providers: including Stripe (payment processing), FMCSA (carrier verification), and any driver-verification provider, each receiving only what is needed for its function.
  • Legal & safety: when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
  • No sale of personal information: We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not "sell" or "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) or analogous state laws.

4. Retention

We keep personal information while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, and afterward only as needed to meet legal, tax, accounting, dispute-resolution, and fraud-prevention obligations (generally up to seven (7) years for transaction and tax records). Bonus-claim and verification documents are sensitive: the raw files are restricted to reviewers and are automatically purged after a claim resolves (currently a 90-day window), leaving only verification metadata. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

5. Security

We use administrative and technical safeguards, store payment and bank data with our hosted processors rather than on our own servers, and restrict access to sensitive documents to reviewers. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. Where required by law, we will notify affected users and authorities of a data breach.

6. Your Choices & Rights

You can access and update your profile, manage cookie preferences, and request closure of your account at any time. Depending on your state of residence, you may also have the right to: (a) confirm whether we process your personal information and access it; (b) correct inaccurate information; (c) delete your information; (d) obtain a portable copy; and (e) opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal information, or certain profiling. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. To exercise a right, contact us at privacy@cdlmatch.me. We will verify your request (for example, by confirming control of your account email), and respond within the time required by law (generally 45 days, extendable as permitted). You may use an authorized agent where the law allows. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our response; you may also contact your state attorney general. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

7. Children

The Service is not directed to children and is intended for users 18 and older.

8. Changes

We may update this Policy and will publish new versions; material changes may prompt re-acceptance.
