Acceptable Use & Ratings Content Policy
Version 1
Acceptable Use & Ratings Content Policy
This Policy applies to everyone who uses CDL Match and supplements the Terms of Service.
1. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service lawfully and respectfully. You will not: post false, misleading, or fraudulent information; harass, threaten, or defame others; infringe others' rights; upload malware or attempt to breach security; scrape, harvest, or redistribute data; or attempt to circumvent the platform's contact or verification gating. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate this Policy.
2. Ratings — Purpose & Eligibility
Drivers may rate carriers after a qualifying, carrier-verified interaction. Ratings are subjective opinions meant to help other drivers. They are kept strictly separate from verified hiring history and never alter a driver's verified record. Carriers cannot rate drivers.
3. Ratings Content Standards
Ratings and comments must be honest, based on your own first-hand experience, and free of: unlawful, hateful, harassing, or defamatory content; others' personal information; profanity directed at a person; or content posted to manipulate or extort. Do not post ratings in exchange for payment or other incentives.
4. Anonymity
Carriers see aggregate scores and anonymized comments, not which driver left a rating. Do not include information in a comment that would identify you if you wish to remain anonymous.
5. Moderation & Reporting
A carrier may report a rating it believes violates this Policy. Reported content is reviewed and may be hidden or restored. We may remove content or take account action for violations. CDL Match provides an interactive platform and is not the author of user-generated content such as ratings and comments; consistent with Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, we are not responsible for that content, and our review or removal of content does not make us its publisher. Moderation is reactive, and we do not guarantee review of all content.
6. Enforcement
Violations may result in content removal, suspension, or termination, in our discretion and consistent with the Terms of Service.
